THE CLUB
The club was formed in 2008 and from small beginnings we can now boast a membership in excess of 190 members. Some of our coaches and assistant coaches joined us as year 5's and are now part of the coaching team as well as being fully qualified umpires!
The aim of the club is to promote and develop the sport of Netball, giving the opportunity to participate and learn the required skills of the sport through structured coaching sessions delivered by England Netball qualified coaches, matching skills, drills and fitness sessions to age and ability; thus enabling each player to reach their full potential within the club, or at County, Regional and National levels in a safe and friendly environment.
The club currently caters for players who are in School Year 11 (15 yrs old as at midnight 31st August 2022) and below. Teams play on a Saturday in the Chelmsford and District Junior Netball League and are also entered in all day rallies throughout the year. We also have teams in the Basildon Adult League.
For those who are in School Yrs 4 and 5, Flames Junior NC would love to welcome you to its development group and introduce you to netball and improve your skills. The Chelmsford and District Junior Netball League also holds a mini league just for you during the season.
